Meet Our Staff |

BRIAN POTTER - PRESIDENT One of the original founders of AMI in 1987, became president in 2002 and continues overseeing business development responsibilities as well as serving as the corporate Safety Advisor.
CHAD COMPS - VICE PRESIDENT Joined AMI in 2000 after receiving his Construction Management Degree from Ferris State University. Chad was named Vice-President in 2006 and now supervises all projects under contract.
KENNETH TUITMAN, LEED-AP, - SALES ENGINEER In 2004 Ken joined AMI for the primary reason as an outside sales representative, but because of his extensive background previously working as a Structural Engineer in the greater Grand Rapids area, his duties also include the design of structural supports needed for CENTRIA wall systems. He brings more than 15 years of design and construction experience to AMI, along with being a LEED Accredited Professional
MIKE BLOSSOM - FABRICATION SHOP MANAGER Mike joined AMI initially as a sheet metal worker and was promoted to Shop Manager in 2002. Mike’s skill and attention to detail ensures quality, precise fabrication or materials required for wall & roof systems.
MIKE WILTSHIRE - PROJECT MANAGER Mike has joined AMI full-time as Project Manager after working part-time in the field while attending college. Mike is a 2004 graduate of Michigan State University's School of Building and Construction Management.
JOHN SIMON - PROJECT MANAGER Joined AMI in 2008 as Project Manager and brings with him 20 years of commercial construction experience.
DAVID ROCKAFELLOW - PROJECT MANAGER David joined AMI in 2008 after graduating from Ferris State University with degrees in Construction Management and Architectural Technology.
BRAD HAASE - ESTIMATOR Brad joined AMI in 2006 after graduating from Ferris State University with degrees in Construction Management and Building Construction Technology. He now serves as Chief Estimator for the company.
KEN STOEPKER – CAD / IT MANAGER Ken joined AMI in 2007 as a project / layout designer. With his drafting background and 20 years of construction experience, he provides expertise from initial project start-up through final completion. Ken is a 1996 graduate of Michigan State University's School of Building and Construction Management.
TERRY BUSCHERT - FIELD MANAGER Terry has been with AMI since its inception in 1987. His knowledge and experience allows him the ability to be involved with field operations for each AMI project.
LANCE HAZEL, GORDIE LAMPMAN. DREW SIFTON, CORY ARP - PROJECT FOREMEN AMI’s largest assets are experience, skill, safety and strong work ethic that each foreman brings to the project. Their technical training and professionalism result in quality projects completed in an efficient manner. Our installation crews operate from our 7,800sf, fully equipped sheet metal shop centrally located at the I-96 & M-66 interchange. With control of our fabrication shop we are capable of producing all types of metal panel systems for a variety of applications.
